PBH SERIES
CRUSHER/PULVERIZER
For rapid on-site crushing and pulverizing of concrete chunks 24" to 36". Also shears and bundles rebar for hauling.
The PBH processes material with a 4-stage operating cycle:
(1) the patented front teeth make the initial split into
two large chunks;
(2) concrete is broken into six sections by the heavy
side teeth;
(3) further crushed by the sliding action between the
fixed arm and the working face of the crusher arm; and
(4) pulverized to small aggregate that falls from the
rebar, which is then sheared by the unit's integral cutting
blades.
Design features:
-
New speed valve accepts greater oil flow and maintains speed of flow during the full cycle, including the crushing stage, resulting in faster cycle time.
-
Powerful crushing force allows PBH to crush concrete down to aggregate in one jaw-closing action.
-
New high-tensile steel reduces weight, making mounting easier. The PBH now fits on lighter carriers, yet still produces like a heavy unit.
-
Patented fin-shaped front breaker teeth start the crushing cycle with a lengthwise cracking action, requiring 40% less power than conventional pointed teeth.
-
Patented front breaker design reduces power requirements and boosts efficiency by 150% over traditional units.
-
The precisely engineered contour of the front tooth maintains constant distribution of cracking force throughout the entire closing arc of the jaws.
-
Mono-block frame of heavy-duty, abrasion-resistant steel; trunnion-mounted cylinder provides uniform power during the closing arc.
-
Simple, flexible mount attaches easily to the carrier's bucket linkage.
